With data center locations spanning North America and Europe, Future Hosting operates a business-class series of private, interconnected networks based in each facility.
How it works
Each Future Hosting server is physically equipped with two separate network cards. While the primary network card manages Internet traffic and provides connectivity for the public Internet, a secondary network card exclusively manages private network traffic and provides connectivity only to Future Hosting’s private network. The network cards on the private network connect to switches and ultimately the Future Hosting routers on the private network.
Each Future Hosting data center location is equipped with its own private internal network, accessible only directly by Future Hosting support team members and direct clients. Network traffic on the private network is unmetered, offering virtually unlimited network access.
Each server which is activated on the private network receives a unique private network IP address which can be used for inter-server connectivity or server-to-storage as well as other services on the private network.
Interconnectivity
With servers in a variety of cities in North America and Europe, it is imperative Future Hosting clients can communicate with their servers, regardless of its geographic location. As an added bonus, all Future Hosting private networks are interconnected – offering the ability to transfer data securely between all Future Hosting servers, regardless of the data center facility.
